Seniors last homecoming was September 16, 2023. This was an important event to many, as there are so many different things people do during this time. It gets a little sad to think about it being our last homecoming, but that does not stop all the fun!
Getting prepared
First, you have to pick the dress, make sure to go with the style that best fits for homecoming.
Everyone is different when dress shopping. Some people go at the last minute, and some go shopping in advance. The later you go though, there might not be a lot of options because lots of people have been planning homecoming for awhile.
After the dress, pick out the perfect pair of shoes, comfy but cute.

Always think ahead when getting shoes. You may want heels for a picture so you look your best. But dancing in heels? Now that sounds like a way to break an ankle. Plus a lot of the time heels are not allowed. Like this homecoming was held in the field house which is tar. Your heels will sink in, so they are not allowed.
Then, it is good to figure out what time to start getting ready, it may take you a while.

Like Mia, it may take you a while to get ready. She has naturally really curly hair, so starting on her hair early is a good idea. If you know that it won’t take you too long to get ready, you could always slowly get ready. Although some girls it could take all day, and still never seemed to be prepared when the time comes to leave.
Sharing the experience with others
Also to add, it is important to share this experience with one person or even more.

Some people may go with one other person as a date, but some people go as smaller or larger groups to share more of the experience with one another. At dances, you tend to see people with more than one person. But going just one-on-one is always fun too!
A time to never forget
Nevertheless, homecoming is an important part of the high school experience to so many.
Most people would say homecoming is something that will stay in your memory for a lifetime. Homecoming is a way to be with the people you go to school with and bond with them in a different way than in school. People always had fun going to dances with all of their friends, and usually always have a blast. It is sad to say that this was our last homecoming because we are seniors. This isn’t the very last dance as seniors though. So watch out Snocoming and Prom because seniors are ready to tear up the dance floor!
