Chick-fil-A is common amongst all ages, but many teens. Since 1946 many people have loved Chick-fil-A but others have never had it at all. Lots of people who have tried to may also think it is expensive or overrated. It is “Gen Z’s favorite restaurant.” said Nicholas Vega from CNBC. So.. here is the scoop on Chick-fil-A.

Popular menu items
Many choose Chick-fil-A over other places when it comes to a chicken sandwich or some nuggets. Chick-fil-A’s popular menu items are chicken sandwiches, nuggets, tenders, salads, and shakes. They also have Mac and Cheese! CFA also offers breakfast items like iced coffee and chicken breakfast biscuits.

Pros of Chick-fil-A
The service at Chick-fil-A is beyond amazing. Every time you say “thank you” their response is always “My pleasure”. They do make you feel like it is a pleasure to serve you and are quick to bring you anything you may need. They even do free refills and give out free condiments!
It is difficult to recall leaving Chick-fil-A disappointed. As well as wishing you had chosen somewhere else. Their employee service is always top-notch. The restaurants are always very clean in comparison to other fast-food restaurants. Their chicken is much more realistic tasting. There is no doubt about whether their chicken is real compared to other fast food places.
Cons of Chick-fil-A
“John, a 26-year-old gay man who lives and works in the New York City area, says he also used to eat there as undercover as possible. This is due to Chick-fil-A’s well-documented history of donations to charities with anti-LGBTQ+ stances, as well as current chairman Dan Cathy’s controversial commentary on same-sex marriage,” stated Joseph Lamour a Today show writer.
It is unfair that anyone should have to worry about hiding their sexual orientation, etc.. at a restaurant or organization.
It is not right to say that Chick-fil-A is the one and only “homophobic company” known for this. CFA is one of the few places that deal with those accusations that we know of. Eating their food does not equal supporting their actions. Many other places have similar values that we do not know about. Whether you have the same political agreement or not, their food is different from others.
Price Tag
Chick-fil-A is not the cheapest fast food on the market. Their polite service and food taste could explain the price though.
“Their prices are a little unreasonable in comparison to other places with similar items,” said Liam Zolman.
Worth it?
Setting bias aside on whether you like chicken or not, they offer other menu items. The prices and past issues may be a barrier, but the type of real food you get at CFA makes it worth it to many. Choose Chick-fil-A over Mcdonalds, KFC, etc, if you want some real food and kind service.
