In every team, there is one person who is the glue, the heart, the person who leads the team. Being the leader can be challenging to make the best decisions for everyone. Not only does it take strength and to encourage each person on your team but to have different views on what it takes to be a great leader. Many leaders tell their stories about being great leaders but they all have led people for different reasons. Leading also does not mean they lead you on the right path but helps you know what to do
Monique Valcour, from Harvard Business, says “To lead, you must be able to connect to people and show great leadership as well”
With that topic, being a leader is more difficult to tell them what to do. It takes skills and practice every day. People are either easy or harder to connect with, especially with a different story. Wanting to be a great leader takes you to either step up and reach out to help or give up. Who wants a leader who will give up for their teammates? You do not push them in a physical way but in a mental mind way. That is the best way to get someone more eager to try harder in whatever topic it is
SANJEEV VERMA, from The Entrepreneur, says ” A leader knows when to take accountability. They know the responsibilities it takes to be a great leader. Learning fast with pace is key”.
As anyone would know, the ones who are the greatest leaders are the ones who learned. Rather want someone who knows the ups and downs of being a leader. Who takes action on the dot when needed to be. Yet there is a leader who has failed many times but does not quit when they fail. That right there is what makes a good leader.
LeBron James, from the NBA “Part of being a leader is making people also believe that sometimes they can do more than they actually can do. Giving them a sense of belief and confidence. And for me, I’ve always kind of done that.”
A person who dealt with hate for wanting to lead a team to win a championship, many have looked up to LeBron James. He has overcome 4-5 different teams in his basketball career and leading them to win a ring is more than being a leader. It takes skill to do what he has done. He has overcome many situations and still won many games. Leading his team to win each game while proving that he could lead any team because he has the skills to.
Furthermore, anyone can call themselves a leader. If they can push a team beyond their limit. Showing examples day by day while doing good when no one is looking then they have what it takes to be a great leader. You must fail a lot to understand that being a leader is not the easiest job but yet it can have the greatest outcome.
