What is the reason behind Halloween costumes?

 
There’s tons of different reasons for each person or where they live. A lot of places do have reasons such as keep the spirits away. The reasoning behind halloween costumes is for people to have fun or do what they see halloween as. “This is where the costumes came in, worn as disguises by festival-goers so they could “avoid being terrorized by all the evil spirits walking the Earth during Samhain.”” Studies have found that around this time of the year the thing between the dead becomes thinner. According to Lesley Bannatyne, people wear scarier costumes so the spirits will fear them.

The older kids should go later like 8 to 9. That is good because the younger kids keep a good bedtime. While the older kids prefer going out later even to avoid the younger kids.

It also says that people thought to put out food outside their house thinking it would not let any ghosts in.
