It was the week before Christmas, and Jenison had their second spirit week of the school year. The days of the spirit week were as follows: Monday: Holiday Pajama Day, Tuesday: Winter Hat and Sock Day, Wednesday: Santa’s Workshop Day, Thursday: Seasonal Sweater Day, and Friday was the first day of winter break.

Students from each class earn their class pride points that contribute to winning the pride party at the end of the year. They earned points by participating in wearing the Christmas attire for the given spirit day. Students who wore things like Santa, elf and reindeer costumes, or seasonal sweaters, will be the most likely to earn points.

Overall the spirit weeks during the school year are important for each class so they have the opportunity to earn points to go to annual pride party which consists of food, games, and bouncy houses!
